The Far City Boys & Dave Moody Receive Dove Award Nomination from the GMA
Lamon Records artist The Far City Boys and Dave Moody have just been nominated for a Dove Award by the members of the Gospel Music Association. Known as the "Christian Music Grammys" the Dove Awards will be presented on April 21, 2010 at the Grand Old Opry House in Nashville, TN.
This is the first nomination for Kevin Street and The Far City Boys whose driving traditional bluegrass sound has been well received at radio nationwide. Their nomination comes in the Best Bluegrass Album category. This year's other nominees in the Country and Bluegrass genres include, Ricky Skaggs, Diamond Rio, Oak Ridge Boys, Point of Grace, Rhonda Vincent, Jason Crabb, and Patty Loveless.
For Lamon President and past Dove Award winner Dave Moody, this is his 19th nomination since 2001.
